PALE BLUE DOT CONSULTING SERVICES

Environmental Emergency Response Planning and Coordination

Pale Blue Dot Staff have worked on local and national emergency response events, including transformer oil spills, overturned commercial vehicles, power plant fallout, sewage spills, potable water main breaks/boil water advisories, wildlife strandings, post hurricane response, fuel tank farm fires, hazardous waste spills, and petroleum spills including the 2010 BP Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

PBDC staff are capable of responding to and documenting emergency events, planning the response strategy, performing sampling and testing, notifying agencies and stakeholders, and coordinating recovery efforts with clean up contractors. Our staff has performed this type of work at utility, local, state, and national scale. We work with a number of nationally recognized clean-up contractors and NELAC and ASTM certified laboratories. Our work product includes legally defensible environmental data collected using Florida Department of Environmental Protection Standard Operating Procedures. Everything from hold-times, sample preservation, chain of custody, and instrument calibration and verification are provided to document conditions throughout a response where applicable.
